@Courtney – Great to hear you’re passionate about fitness and found a program that works. You don’t need certification to share your personal experience and inspire others however if you start giving nutrition tips or anything related to health, you may want to look getting one. Google search engines value this! Most important part is having first-hand experience with real results. Starting a second blog on lifestyle and homeschooling sounds exciting but I wouldn’t advise you to start a second blog until you’ve mastered your first one. Don’t let imposter syndrome hold you back, you have valuable insights to share.

I love fitness and have experience losing and gaining weight. Now have found a program I believe in and want to share about it. Kinda feel like I would want to get certified to share some information about getting fit so I don’t feel imposter syndrome. But I’ve been living the method and it’s working for me. I also really want to start a second blog more lifestyle because I feel I would enjoy writing about other topics and I homeschool. I think homeschool would do well finding things to write about. However my biggest passion is fitness.

@Chany – using a name, like your first and last name or even a nickname works too. This is especially helpful if you are unsure of what you want to blog about but want to try a few topics before going for that one specific niche or category.

Hi Monica,

You can name your blog literally any name you’d like. I usually recommend coming up with a name that aligns with what your blog or website is about. That way when people land on your page, they get the sense or idea what your page is all about. To be honest, I’ve seen blog names that don’t really align with what the blog is about but I see that they still do well. I do mention that a blog name doesn’t really make or break your blog. But if you ask for my opinion, I believe that if you can name it something that is about your blog niche, then your readers won’t get super confused or puzzled by it.

You can always use the name Rivers and attach it with words that are related to family and marriage (or a word with strong meaning behind it). For example:
– strengthofrivers.com (Strength Of Rivers)
– bondwithrivers.com (Bond With Rivers)
– bondingrivers.com (Bonding Rivers)

It is important to us that our brand has our name (Rivers) represented and it includes our total unit/tribe (there are a total of 7 us in our family). Not sure if more is needed…it doesn’t state the focus of topics – but in another way it does since there will be a focus on family and marriage, etc. Thoughts?
