Hey friend! Welcome to Blog Savvy Panda!
My name is Ling and I started my first blog about personal finance called FinSavvy Panda where I document my financial journey and share my tips on how to save money, budget, and make extra money.
During that time, I was REALLY depressed about my life and felt dissatisfied with all of my previous jobs.
As a result, I started my first blog as a fun hobby to help others so I could have something positive to look forward to.
At the same time, I also wanted to see if I could earn extra money to pay off debt, save more, invest more, spend more on the things I love, AND be able to support my family including my parents who were working minimum-wage jobs where they eventually got laid off.
The thought of earning money with a blog and being able to do what I enjoy was just a dream. I didn’t really know what to expect at the early stages of my blogging journey, but I just knew that my life needed change.
So, it happened!!
I saw my first income from blogging within my first 6 months of starting my blog while I was still working at the previous full-time job I dreaded. I never knew what “blogging” or “making money online” meant before this, and I was SUPER excited to see it happen in real life!
As I was making progress with my first blog and earned over $10,000 every month within my first 18 months of blogging, not only was I getting questions from my readers about my personal finances, but I was also getting a lot of questions about how I was able to quit my job to become a full-time blogger.
Due to the high volume of questions I get from my readers and followers about how to start a blog and make money, I decided to start a second blog about general lifestyle to see if I could replicate my own results and learn about different blog niches before teaching it.
After starting my second blog and being able to replicate my own results, it made me feel much more confident about teaching you how to do it too! On top of that, I even learned a ton more about the blogging world that I would have never imagined!
The great thing about blogging is there are SO many new and exciting things to learn each day no matter which stage you’re at in your blogging journey.
I also share in my income report on how I make over $20,000 per month blogging today. And trust me, there are SO many other things I still don’t know, but I am on my way to learning something new each day. I look forward to passing on my blogging knowledge and sharing my experience with you so that you can succeed too!
